Pamela lived at Casa Angelina when she was a little girl but was transferred to another orphanage after a few years. She eventually ran away, back to her mother who then forced her to work the streets selling fruits and vegetables. Her mother’s fruit stand is actually a front for a sex trafficking business and Pamela was forced into this lifestyle. As a result, Pamela got pregnant and ran away to a garbage dump after her brothers beat her in an attempt to abort the baby. One day, toward the end of her pregnancy, Pamela felt the urge to visit her mother one last time. That same day, Kimberly Tait strongly felt like she should drive by the fruit stand just to see if Pamela was working there still. God had divinely reconnected them just in time to have Pamela and her pregnancy medically assessed for the first time. About one week later her baby boy, Alfredo, was born weighing only 4 pounds. Doctors confirmed he was healthy and full-term in spite of the malnutrition! Two days after the delivery, Pamela and Alfredo came to live at Casa Angelina. She is working hard at getting her education, and Alfredo is healthy, happy, and loved by all!
