Kevin’s story is one of rejection. Having been abandoned at birth, he was sent to an orphanage for unwanted street children. He lived there for 9 years learning all kinds of behaviors in order to survive. In February 2017, the National Council for Adoptions in Guatemala placed him with new parents who had been wanting to adopt as they couldn’t have children themselves. Two months later they returned Kevin, stating that he would use profanities and, as pastors, that was an embarrassment for their ministry. However, his rejection turned into an amazing blessing! Shortly after that, Kevin was brought to Casa Angelina. He has been absorbed into a place of love, forgiveness, healing, direction, and the wonder-working power of the Holy Spirit. He came in one way, but the culture of Casa Angelina has changed him. Praise God!
