The Arashan family’s experience went from bad to worse. Having grown up in extreme poverty with alcoholic parents who left them and neglected them, their conditions were reported. The judge gave their parents two separate opportunities to change but ended up bringing them to Casa Angelina in July of 2016. However, after being with us for six months, the judge granted custody to their aunt and they went to live with her. At the follow-up visit by the social worker, she reported them as in danger and having been abused by one of their aunt’s boyfriends. They were removed and joined us again on July 26, 2017. It hurts to know things got worse, but we are grateful that they are now safe and being healed from all the enemy’s efforts to destroy them. They absolutely love Casa Angelina and never want to leave again!
