Ana Gomez has been in the widow program since 2018. She was married twice, but both of her husbands passed away. Her first husband was an alcoholic, and her second husband had complications due to a hernia.
When her second husband passed away, she was kicked out of her house (which was made of straw and corn stalk) by her stepdaughters. Ana then moved in with a daughter from her first marriage. She didn’t have a need to work until that time, and the only job she could get was washing people’s clothing. Now she still likes to work by washing people’s clothing as she takes care of her grandchildren. She is grateful to be able to have them grow up in the best home she has ever set foot in! We also provide for her food, supplies, and medical needs.
