Bernada has been a widow for a year. Her husband had a stroke and passed away. She and her husband had three children, one of whom is a single mother of a young daughter and her other two children live next to her. She lived in an adobe and sheet metal house when we found her. Bernada cannot read or write but used to work and make money by weaving and selling her weaving; however, she cannot work anymore. She has a good relationship with her children, and they help her in any way they can. Her new house was built in October 2019 and given to her on November 3, 2019. It was a very special time for her and her family. We now take care of her and are showing her more and more just how special she is to her Heavenly Father.
