Braulia Choc has been a widow for 45 years. In tears, she explained to us that her poverty was so extreme that she watched one of her children starve to death, unable to aid her. We rescued her in 2019, and she praised God for His goodness. She has worked all her life cleaning houses and working in the fields but lived a mostly lonely life. She has since expressed that guests come over frequently now that she has a home. She is very grateful for the help she has received, her new house, her food every month, and her medical care.
