Carmen Tuctuc has been a widow for over 25 years and a part of our Widows’ program since 2018. Her husband lost her life to an illness that they did not have the resources to identify. Carmen has 4 children but still lives alone. Although she suffers from arthritis and can’t work like she used to, Carmen still enjoys weaving table clothes and table runners.We support her monthly with food and medical care. When we originally reached out to her she was very untrusting because in the past her daughter had been tricked by a humanitarian association which resulted in losing all of her savings. She had many doubts until the day the house was started. Once the house was finished she realized that we only wanted to bless her and she couldn’t help but express her gratitude to God and to our efforts to bless her.
