Elma Marina Yool is 39 years old, has 6 children and has been a widow for over a year now. Her mother Modesta was in our widows’ program for a very brief time but unfortunately passed away due to kidney failure and diabetes shortly after receiving her new home. Elma’s house was previously made of only sheet metal and corn stalks but now Elma and her children live in the house her late mother was previously provided through our program. Elma has never studied and up until recently her two oldest children were the only ones working to provide for the family. Since being brought into our widows’ program, she now receives medical care form our clinic and food from our ministry every month.
