Juliana Martin is 62 years old and has been a part of our widow’s program since 2019. Juliana’s husband passed away after having a stroke 7 years ago. She had 6 children but tragically 1 passed away. Before we brought her into our program, Juliana’s house was made of only adobe and wood. Juliana never has had the opportunity to study and therefore cannot read or write. Currently, Juliana works in the fields harvesting pea every day. Through the generous support of our partners not only does Juliana have a new home to live in but we are able to provide for her with monthly checkups at our medical clinic and support her with food throughout the week.
