María de Jesús and Julian Ruyan have been a part of our program since 2019. María is 74 years old and Julian is 72 years old. They used to both work in the fields cultivating and harvesting vegetables but now Julian is the only one that works. Julian and María have had 8 children together. 5 have passed away, 2 have their own families and 1 still lives with them. Their previous house was made up of only adobe and cornstalks however, Since October of 2019, María and Julian now live in a new home provided to them through our program. We are so pleased to not only have been blessed to provide this home for them, but to also offer them monthly food and medical support.
