Maria Elias Gomez has been a widow for over 15 years. Maria has been in our widows’ program since 2016. We currently support her monthly with medical care and food. The very same year that she was brought into our widows program we were able to provide her with a brand new home. She has been very happy with her new house as her old one was made only of sheet metal and wood. Thanks to our partners support, Maria has gratefully reported that she can finally sleep well at night without the fear of the freezing rain getting her wet.
