María Marcela Ruyan is 60 years old and has been a widow for over 34 years. At a young age her husband struggled with addictions and unfortunately passed away due to them. María currently has 5 children and receives what support that can be offered from one of her daughters. María does not have the ability to read or write. Due to the generous support of our partners, María is provided for despite her inability to work any longer. We are pleased to inform our partners that as of September 2019 María has a new home and monthly support from our medical clinic.
