Casa Angelina has had the same playground set sinc

Casa Angelina has had the same playground set since we had 100 fewer children. It was a blessing but it had become “Old Faithful.” We had patched it, painted it and fixed it over the years, and all of our kids have had fun and created memories on it. However, it was time for an upgrade! And, thank you to a generous partner we were able to finish the first phase of our playground dream!
Our children could see it being assembled and buzzed with anticipation. The grand opening was thrilling as our children “stormed the castle” and experienced every feature. We are determined to give our orphans the best life we can and are grateful for all of you who believe in them with us. Our children LOVE soccer!!! This past month, our young teenagers became district championships and went on to play in the regional finals. Our children play soccer a lot at Casa Angelina but it is very exciting for them to play and compete against other teams. They won the majority of their games and most of the games they played went to overtime and penalty shoot outs. Christmas at Casa Angelina is very exciting and this past Christmas was the best yet!!! The kids haven’t stopped talking about how wonderful it was. Our recently completed road became the circuit for all the new bikes and the houses resonated with the sounds of games and play. We all feel so blessed to have celebrated Jesus in such a significant and generous way! Casa Angelina is a different kind of orphanage. From the quality of the property, homes and facilities, to the medical, psychological and spiritual care, we are completely invested in every child we rescue. Our vision is to create new leaders for Guatemala, filled with the Spirit of God, healed and whole, and educated into places of significance. It’s a different journey to go from being an orphan roaming the streets, trying to survive to becoming a successful student and graduate. We praise God and give Him all the glory for the systems, staff, and children He has given us. Our 2023 graduation was another success and we are so proud of all of our children! It enriches their lives in deeps ways to be celebrated and rewarded for their efforts!
