Vicenta Pichiya has lived in fear for her 76 years of life. Her stepmother exploited her a lot when she was young, forcing her to work while never allowing her to go out. Vicente was always afraid of having a relationship of any kind. She never married and never had children.
Her life has been spent working in the fields and making weavings.
When we rescued her, it was a divine appointment because she had broken her arm and needed proper care. We were able to take her to our medical clinic, where she received treatment and now has fully recovered. We built her a house in October 2019 and continue to take care of all her needs. For the rest of her life, she will have friends, people who love her, and we will redeem the lost years with the abundance God has provided.
