We rescued Brígida Saloman when she was 78 years old. Her life was always difficult and impoverished, and she never learned how to read or write. She has been a widow for 38 years because her husband was an alcoholic, and one night, when he was drunk, he fell inside a water tank and drowned. They had two children, but only her daughter is still living. Her daughter is married and has ten children. We built Brígida a home in November 2019 and, she is happy to have her whole family living with her in the warmth and safety of her beautiful home.
