Gabriel Perez and his wife Dominga were both a part of our program since 2016 but sadly, his wife Dominga had Parkinson’s disease and cancer ultimately passing away in 2018. In 2019, What Matters was able to build Gabriel a brand new home which has allowed him to move from out of his daughters home. He has expressed how grateful he is for this gift and for What Matters Ministries, saying how uncommon an experience it is to discover people who have a heart for the elderly. He has always worked in the fields cultivating vegetables to make a living and this still is his line of work. He was recently diagnosed with heart problems and has been receiving medical care at our medical clinic monthly. We have also had the honor of providing for him food from our program.
