Herminia has been a widow for a little more than a year. With her husband having health issues and being diabetic, he suffered a heart attack and passed away.
We built Herminia a new home in September 2019. The house that she lived in was made of adobe and sheet metal, but she didn’t own it. Her husband had left her a small piece of land before he passed away, and we were able to build her a house there. We are grateful to take care of this beautiful lady. She receives groceries and medical help each month.
